I usually listen to non-english music. I could list you all my favorite bands, but that would take too long. So my current one right now is ONE OK ROCK, with Aqua Timez coming in at second.

That one is so good, I'm like the only kid in my school who can't relate to that song (Never played the original games). But I did play Sonic The Hedgehog so I like "Sonic Doesn't Need A Story".

Well, the originals are confusing.
Red/Blue/Gold/Silver/Crystal
Then there's FireRed (Remake of Red), LeafGreen (Remake of Blue), HeartGold (New Remake of Gold), SoulSilver (New remake of Silver) and Crystal (Makes absolutely no sense IMO. And the graphics are sooo trippy).

The opening theme of Gokaiger would make much more sense to sing.
Personally, I judge music by songs...not genres. If I like something, I like it.
Though so far I have liked pretty much anything except most rap, some country (because it's stupid), and some classical.
Ride of the Valkyries is my favorite classical song, hands down, though.
