Inaccurate History (open)

[Giga]

Kyo was still wedged firmly under a car when he heard a report filtering through over the news. Sliding himself free, he sat up and wiped his hands on an old rag as the report dragged on.

"-ports indicate that some kind of monster has appeared in downtown Tokyo, outside Hachioji station. The monster appears to have accomplices clad in black and is-"

That was really all the information that Kyo needed, jumping to his feet, he grabbed his jacket from the hook and rummaged in the pockets for his hat, finding it just as he left the garage
"Pops, I'm just heading downtown, I'll be back soon. The car's fixed" before his boss could reply Kyo was already slipping on his hat. The garage was only a few blocks from Hachioji station, he wouldn't need his bike. Setting off at a run, Kyo tried to mentally prepare himself for what would come next..

Arriving on the scene as a crowd of civilians rushed past him, Kyo saw something strange. The black clad figures seemed to have strange spined masks and were wearing suits not fullbody outfits. Did Shocker update their look? Shaking it off, Kyo marched forward and gave his customary warning to people he didn't recognise
"If you start something, I'll finish it"
The masked men didn't seem to take much heed as the ran forward, the first one diving forward and being genuinely surprised by Kyo's foot catching him in the chest and stamping him down into the road. The slight cracking of the asphalt told the remaining ones what this meant. In a blur of movement, they lashed out at him but each was blocked or dodged and smacked backwards until finally, Kyo hit one harder than the others and watched as he fell to the floor and a strange stick flew out of him
"MASQUERADE"
"What the-?" Kyo looked baffled as the other masked fighters vanished, leaving one wheezing human and the Kaijin at the end of the street.

Walking forward, Kyo noticed something, two more monsters were flanking the one at the head. They seemed to be a Jaguar, a Spider and a Squid, but their designs looked strangely organic with human faces worked into them.
"What are you guys?" Kyo asked, looking suitably confused at the scenario. He wasn't sure he liked these three on one odds.

[The Greeed]

Ankh was laughing at the irony. Mezool had made a Yummy to attack that blonde woman, Uva one to attack Kazari and instead they were actually working together. His sneering laugh caught the attention of a youth atop a bright yellow Corvette and a sharp pain shot through Ankh's head.

"Kazari." He murmured.

"What!?" Uva barked, walking up behind Ankh.

"Over there." Ankh replied, pointing him out before multicoloured wings shot out behind him. "You stay here and watch out for the blonde onna." He ordered, spitting the last word before he swooped down to street level.

[Giga]

((OOC: Sweet, I did have a reason for them working together. Which'll also explain the Masquerade Dopant))

Kyo didn't really expect a reply from the monsters but they did seem to be acting strangely. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw a flash of multi-coloured light but had no time to dwell on it. He took an unsteady step forward when the Jaguar Kaijin dived towards him. Swerving backwards, the claws sailed over his head but the speed and strength of the moves were greater than he'd expected. He tried to punch it in the face but the blow was simply shrugged off, and Kyo felt himself shoved backwards hard. Landing in a crouch, his boots sliding on the ground, he coughed to clear his lungs. Had that blow broken something?

Forcing himself to his feet again, Kyo growled and there was a shimmer of light as his belt appeared around his waist. Throwing his left arm up and right palm forward he slowly rolled his shoulder, saying"Giiiiiga" before quickly throwing a fast punch and shouting "HENSHIN!" Green fire engulfed Kyo's body quickly, vanishing in a sphere of emerald lightning as the transformation completed revealing Kamen RiderGiga.

The Kaijin seemed to show some reaction to this but it wasn't surprise, more like confusion? What was going on here...

[Yuuga Bara]

Yuuga was listening to the speaking of Izeekel in his ear.

"What are they?" questioned Yuuga, drawing his sword from his longcoat.

"Not Horrors," Izeekel stated, "What are they?"

"I don't know," Izeekel said, "But as a Makai Knight, you should still deal with them."

"I know," Yuuga said, rushing at the Jaguar Yummy with sword free.

[Yup, grunts and Kaijin are fair game. Just keep in mind the whole 'Monster of the Week' thing that we always avert by having several Kaijin in one thread thing ;D It's tradition that we tend not to follow.]

[The Greeed]

Kazari rolled aside from Ankh's flying side kick and Ankh stumbled off the bonnet of the car. Kazari trasnsformed and headbutted Ankh before picking him up and tossing him.

[Giga]

Giga took a few seconds to realise what was happening, it looked like there was another fight happening a few feet from him and a guy with a sword was charging at him. His first thought was just 'Where did that guy even get a sword?' but was soon supplanted by an urge to dodge. Diving to one side, he rolled over his shoulder and left the Jaguar Kaijin to face the charging man with the sword.

Standing his ground, Giga was surprised when the Spider and Squid seemed to attack at once. A stream of webbing shot forth and threatened to ensnare him, dodged only by leaping directly upwards. But while in the air, the Squid fired a blast of ink at him that would hit for sure. Channeling his power into his arms, Giga gave a short, sharp thrust forward and a small explosion of air caused the ink to explode off of an invisible wall of force. Taking this opportunity to attack, Giga fell to the floor again and threw two punches, one hitting the Spider Kaijin and one the Squid. The two monsters staggered back, which at least made Giga glad he had the strength to hit them but something seemed wrong. Why did they sound like coins when he hit them?

The Jaguar Yummy had lost sight of Giga but saw another threat charging, swiping with it's claws, it ran towards Yuuga intent on some harm. It seemed unaware of Kazari's prescence which was odd, but lost on anyone unfamiliar to Yummys.

[Yuuga Bara]

Yuuga leapt forward, letting his momentum carry him. He launched a few kicks at the Jaguar Yummy while getting ready to plunge his sword in.

[Hikari Rei]

Hope you don't mind me cutting in

From behind a tree nearby, the outdoorswoman watched, "Hmm...not a Space Beast...but with the same general aura of evil..." she said to herself, regarding the Yummy.

[Giga]

Another arrival gave Kyo a good chance to divert his workload. He could faintly hear her talking about auras and after a quick judgement call, he decided she could probably handle some trouble. As the Squid swiped at him, he dropped suddenly. Rolling backwards, he got both feet under it and booted it upwards. Sailing through the air, the Squid landed with a crunch of coins a short distance from the woman.
"I hope she can handle one of these things by herself..."

The Jaguar Yummy missed by inches as the coated man dived past him. It felt kicks colliding with surprising force with it's back, for a normal human this one kicked HARD. The Jaguar Yummy hissed and spun around on the spot, claws sailing through the air when it realised the movement had left him wide open to the sword now pointed at his chest. At the last second, it tried to move back...

The Squid Yummy was burbling to itself, still slightly stunned, when it realised there was a woman nearby. The Yummy seemed to turn back to Giga but after a brief fit of indecision, it dived at her with tentacles flying. While her hair was different, the Yummy had somehow managed to return to it's original desire of attacking a woman. Flailing wildly, the Squid charged. Some of the fight seemed to have gone out of it from the mental duel it had had a few feet away, but it was still dangerous, if inaccurate, with it's swings.

The Spider Yummy seemed intent on escape now, launching a webline up onto the closest building and zipping away in a hiss of webbing. Giga wasn't about to allow this thing to escape and leapt after it, shooting into the air. The Spider snarled, webbing yet higher as Giga ricocheted off the first building. It was only in mid-air that he realised, he wasn't going to reach the same height as the Spider. The Kaijin was almost 20 feet above him, and they were already almost 50 feet up. Hitting the side of the building, Giga's legs began to flicker with green energy
"Riiiiiider JUMP!"
With a squeal of his boots on the wall, Giga managed to flick himself up, appearing in a blur the Spider Yummy had enough time to realise there was a foot arching around and that he had no way to move in freefall when the kick landed. There was a thud followed by a small rocket of air as the charged energy of Giga's kick catapulted the Yummy back to Earth. Dropping the considerable height, Giga landed in a crack of concrete as the pavement splintered under his weight.

The Spider Yummy raised itself up once more but Giga was already suspicious, this wasn't the tactic he expected of a Spider. It felt like someone who's attention wasn't focused. He noticed the Jaguar and Squid were likewise having trouble concentrating, they were leaving openings... this was important, something was up. But the Spider wasn't going to give him time to think as it attacked once more

[Yuuga Bara]

Yuuga drove his sword through the Jaguar Yummy's chest, flicking his left wrist to bring his Madou Lighter into hand. He lit the green flame, touching it to the blade, lighting the blade with intense and powerful purifying heat and flames.

"Farewell," Yuuga said as he slashed his sword to the side, attempting to partially bifurcate his foe with the power of his sword and flames.

[Hikari Rei]

Rei saw it coming, taking out the Blast Shot and firing first, cutting through three tentacles coming towards her. Then she stepped out of the way of another group before rolling from right to left behind a tree, causing some of the stray tentacles to get stuck around the trunk.

Looking up while on one knee, she pulled the mechanism on her weapon and fired again, intending to tear a large hole in the Yummy's chest and let a good number of cell medals spill out of the wound.

[Giga]

The Jaguar Yummy impaled itself and as the emerald flame spread down the weapon it roared, ready to lash out at Yuuga. Until the blow cleaved it in half. Cell medals rained down in a silver cascade as the Yummy finally burst into a tinkling pile of coins. Probably not what Yuuga had been expecting, but now left him with a pile of bizarre medals.

The Squid Yummy's lack of focus, coupled with Rei's skill left it wide open for an attack as it's tentacles wrapped around a tree. Struggling to free itself, the shot from Rei's weapon struck it clear in the chest. The earlier abuse had clearly weakened it as this single attack took the kaijin down, exploding in a shower of cell medals, bouncing off the pavement from the damage.

The Spider Yummy fared about as well as it's brethren, it seemed to suddenly up it's game, becoming more focused and intent on defeating Giga but it's earlier damage was too intense. Side-stepping a swing, Giga struck downwards once more with a small flash of green light and the Yummy crumpled. There was a crackle and a bang as more Cell medals burst into the air.

But Giga had no time to hang around and question this, as he defeated the Spider Yummy he noticed a man standing in an alleyway, observing the entire fight. In his hands he held a strange device, that flashed wildly. As he was spotted, the man started to run.
"Hold it!" Giga shouted, sprinting after the fleeing man. Bounding around the corner, Giga saw no sign of the man and pounded the wall in annoyance, cracking the bricks slightly. Sighing, he remembered he had to get back to work. Whoever that man was... Giga would remember his face. In a flash of green light, Giga returned to his human form as Kyo. Rolling his shoulder experimentally, he muttered to himself
"Gotta get back to work..." before setting back off for the garage.

[Yuuga Bara]

Yuuga looked at the coins littered around his feet, "What was that thing?" he muttered.

"I don't know, Sir," Izeekel told Yuuga, "But whatever it was, it was no Horror."

"That much is obvious," Yuuga replied, sheathing his blade.
