Real American Hero [EXCELSIOR]

[Kenneth Frost]

Kenneth held another professor up by his throat with one hand while examining the disc in his right hand.
"I gotta say you guys do some great work here," He told him, flipping the disc up in the air and then pocketing it. "I mean, with our resources all gone and most of our researchers dead you did all the important work for us,"

Kenneth dropped the gasping scientist to the floor and then headed out into the corridor.

It had just been another normal day at work. A little disinfectant spray here, a little floor polish there - nobody had even spilled any whole bloods (or other, less mentionable bodily fluids) yet! A welcome change, considering recent events.

Then he'd heard the sounds of scientists in trouble. The problem he'd always had with BioRepo was that there was absolutely no security personnel. Just a simple electronic lock on the doors and a couple of security cameras. When he'd started with the company, they explained it as a simple lack of funding. Since then, they'd explained it as a total lack of need. There was just never any incident.

Well, at least no incident that they knew of.

So when Kenneth headed out into the corridor to find the janitor of all people standing in his path, leaning on his mop almost lazily, it probably came as an almost laughable sight.

"I'm pretty sure you're not authorized to be in here."

Kenneth chuckled and shrugged.
"What gave it away?" He asked "Was it the broken window? The smashed locks? Ooh, I know, it's the beaten up people in labcoats all over the place isn't it?"

Kenneth cracked his knuckles and advanced on the janitor, reaching for his phone and inputting the three digit activation key.
"No security guards though, might want to check into that, maybe get a rent-a-cop or something. Ooh! I know, since you're plucky and brave maybe you could become the security gua-" He paused, and raised an eyebrow, his phone in his hand hovering just above his belt buckle "You ..."

Greg's moment of recognition came at around the same time as Kenneth's.

"That cell phone must be giving you some KILLER roaming charges, man."

Greg took the opportunity to whip his mop around with surprisingly deadly accuracy, knocking Kenneth's phone hand wide and away from his belt before planting a boot into the man's diaphragm. He called for the Civil Servant and it came to rest on his belt.

"Let's take this outside, shall we?"

Greg leapt out the same broken window that Kenneth must have come in through with a 'TOH!'

Kenneth looked up, growled and spent about a minute looking for his phone in the dark. After he found it and plugged it into his belt he followed Greg out the window.

The wall of the building was illuminated blue as he rolled into the parking lot and looked around for Greg. Who needed security guards when they had Kamen Riders?

[Greg Cypress]

Greg had transformed and was waiting, leaning against the side of his motorcycle casually.

"For a guy who can fly, you sure took your time. Afraid of heights maybe? Ironic."

He stretched and stepped away from the bike, moving with a certain spring in his step, almost mockingly.

"What could you possibly want from BioRepo anyway?"

[Kenneth Frost]

"A disc," Kenneth said "A very important disc with very important things on it,"

Honestly? He had absolutely no clue, he'd just been told by his dad to get a disc from BioRep.

[Greg Cypress]

"Well we're gonna need that disc back. Company policy."

He held out his hand. Of course, he didn't expect this to be so easy, but he figured it was worth a try.

Kenneth laughed and pulled out the trusty phone gun, tapping in a code and then pointing at Greg.
"Yeah ... that's not happening," He told him before opening fire.

[Greg Cypress]

"Well, I tried!"

Greg dove sideways, barely dodging the phone gun's shots. He rolled safely to his feet and narrowed his eyes beneath his helmet. He could get serious and take on Victory form, but a full-on firefight was too risky, innocents might get caught up in it all. His best bet was to try and take it in close.

He barreled at the evil white rider, finally leaping into the air, a leg outstretched in a flying kick.

Kenneth took a forward roll to try and dodge Greg's attack. He straightened out and slid across his back, firing the last two shots in his gun at the other rider. He stopped moving and climbed to his feet, putting a code into his gun and letting it recharge. This left him vulnerable didn't it ...

[Greg Cypress]

The first shot only barely missed Greg, the second took him in the shoulder. Sparks flew as a wisp a smoke rose from his armor, and Greg stumbled slightly as he landed. He looked at Kenneth, and when he started to recharge the gun, he bolted forward, throwing a right hook at Kenneth's jaw.

[Kenneth Frost]

There! Gun charged Kenneth laughed, pulled the gun up and then realised that Greg was incredibly close. Oh shi-
THWACK!
He tumbled to the ground from the punch, dropping his gun. That had been stupid. He grumbles and looks up at Greg. There's a brief pause and then he dives to the left grabbing at his gun.

In the movies, the hero always went for the gun at the same time as the villain.

This wasnt the movies.

Instead, Greg threw a hard heel-kick towards Kenneth's ribs. He had the advantage now, but he knew he had to press it or else the other rider was going to force him to up the ante.

Kenneth stopped and breathed in hard as he got kicked right in between his ribs. He spluttered and then glowered up at Greg through his visor.
"That hurt ..." He growled.
