The flames dispersed, leaving Kiriha waiting to strike, waiting for Danny's move.

Jerome continued to dodge as best as he could, slowly building power up into his legs. He performed a large backflip, landing about ten yards away. His legs really felt it after that, though.
Why was his body failing him like this? Why were they hurting like that?

Danny starts to get impatient. He charges in recklessly swinging his chain about in a wild fury making no effort to defend himself.

Thats a pretty big gap for Johnny to have to close and he knows he can't win this fight in pure hand to hand. Jerome is younger, stronger and more skilled. He gives chase but is not sure he can keep up on foot for long. Garo's wound was already taking it's toll he doesn't have much Hellfire left.

Kiriha continued to dodge. No style? No real motives to his moves? This fight was his. Kiriha was great at style, great at fighting through a wild attack like this one. He drew up a stance, waiting for the next move before he would strike.

Jerome ran forward as Johnny ran at him. He pushed himself forward, leaping, readying a Rider Punch.

William cut off Jerome and ducked underneath his Rider Punch and delivered a devastating punch to the gut.

Jerome stumbled back, "The knight gets involved now?" he hissed, "Fine, I'll still eliminate you both."

Johnny lowered his legs as he ran and went into a slide under the Rider punch. He whipped out his shotgun and took a couple potshots towards Jerome's back as he mocks William.
Unfortunately that takes the last of his hellfire and forces Johnny back into his human form.

Danny was never much of a fighter. He relied on his hellfire to carry fights for him most of the time and it was usually enough. Evidently it wasn't enough here. He swings towards Jeromes neck with the chain again leaving himself wide open.

Jerome stumbled forward, falling to the ground. He rolled away, keeping both foes in his line of sight.

Kiriha leapt forward, ducking and dodging to the side of the chain, dashing forward, spinning around, and sending a kick at Danny's chest.

The kick hits Danny right in the middle of his chest knocking him flat on his back and forcing him back into his human form.

Kiriha crouched after that kick he got in. He panted, waiting to see what would happen next.

Danny just looked up towards the night sky, he spoke to Kiriha without looking towars him. "You're no better than me in the end. You're like this because you let them do it to you. You let Shocker claim your body just as I let Heaven claim my soul."

"I didn't let SHOCKER claim my body," hissed Kiriha, "They abducted and changed me. I broke out and fight back against them." This was the worst thing someone could say to Kiriha; telling him that he let SHOCKER do anything to him.

Danny laughs at that. "Yeah and I touched that sigil on the old bike accidently. If you didn't want this on some level your body wouldn't have accepted the implants."

"Do you really think SHOCKER loads millions of dollars worth of hardware into people they randomly pick off the street?" Danny asks.
"You were chosen because they knew you would accept this hardware and become a weapon. Granted they could have done a bit more research and made sure that weapon wasn't pointed at them but the thought was there. If you really didn't want this you'd have killed yourself. You like being able to kill with you barehands."

"If I didn't have this upgrade, I would be dead now!" Kiriha shouted at him, grasping at his chest, "My illness would have killed me. Incurable. They knew my reputation - I know for a fact they had someone at the medical school I was at! Changing me saved me. That's one reason I didn't kill myself, because like it or not, I got a second chance. And I'm using it to save others from the same fate by fighting SHOCKER..."
