"Let's see how you like this," Jerome said, running forward and throwing a kick forward, "Kick of the Fire God!" he shouted, using his own internal energy, energy sucked up through his belt, and the fire to power his strike.

The blast hits Johnny and knocks him back. The fact that he manages to regain his footing moments later and charge forward again swinging the chain over his head suggests that it didn't hurt him as much as it should have.

"Shit," Jerome muttered, watching the chain, trying to find the moment to grab when the strike would come.
Dragon watched from a distance, considering if he should jump in. This wasn't going as planned.

Dragon held a hand up to his ear, "What?" he hissed.
"What do you mean Missile Rhino is down?"

Kiriha dodged the swing of the SHOCKER cyborg's heavy fist. He leapt over the head, just past the rhino horns, and whipped around, delivering a kick to the chest. He drew his fist back and threw his Rider Punch forward as it stumbled, hitting the missiles, detonating them, taking down the cyborg attacking the Pentagon.

Another Rider comes into Kiriha's view this one is obviously not a Shocker Rider, while his spiked leather armour may fit the bill his flaming skull was not part of Shocker's MO. "Sorry but Shocker is supposed to win this battle, Azrael's orders."

It doesn't take much to catch the chain as Johnny whips it forwards. Of course Johnny pulling back on it as soon as the cyborg's girb establishes itself might be a bit more surprising.

"Who's this "Azrael" guy?" Kiriha questioned, drawing up a fighting stance, "I'm not going to let SHOCKER have their way. I won't let them continue these acts of terrorism, whoever you are."

Jerome stumbled forward, hit the ground and rolled, attempting to kick as he got in close, ignoring the chain for now.

"There were a couple reasons. I was a bit busy torturing a dopant so I wasn't really paying attention." Danny shrugs as he swings the scythe downwards hoping to damage Kihra's legs before any major kicking can be done.

"I'm old and out of practice. You want a medal or something?" Johnny groans before trying again with the chain this time aiming for Jerome's neck as a means to pull himself up and strangle the cyborg at the same time.

Kiriha wasn't fast enough. One of his legs took damage, sparking. He swore and lashed out his other leg at the shaft of the weapon.

The sycthe spinters under the force of the enhanced leg. Danny looks at his broken weapon for a moment before throwing the blade towards his opponent's head.

Johnny manages to flip back up to his feet. "Alright the chain doesn't work. I'll do this the old fashioned way."
He charges in close aiming to deliver an uppercut to Jerome's chin.

Kiriha rolled up and threw his arm out to deflect the blade, since it was just a normal blade. He rose to his feet, feeling his weakened leg. He shifted his weight, waiting to defend.

Jerome took the blow. He stumbled back, shaking his head. He took one step forward and threw a punch towards Johnny's chest.

Seeing Kiriha shift his wait Danny pulls out his gun and fires a blast of hellfire.

As the punch connects to Johnny's torso a burst of more hellfire surges forward out of the wound that Garo left earlier. It's not enough to do any series harm but enough to make even the most determined brawlers pull their punches out of reflex. "Damn, that Pompous fool did something helpful.

Jerome kept back, watching. He could draw on the flames, but he wasn't sure if he could draw enough away, or if it would even stop. Or maybe it would overwhelm him. He continued to watch, unsure of his move.

The kick strikes Danny knocking him back in surprise. He rolls across the ground and waits for a better opening to strike back.

Johnny doesn't give Jerome much of a chance to recover and plan. He keeps in close with a series of quick punches and kicks meant to keep Jerome busy dodging and blocking more than to actually hurt him.
