Jasmine got out of the PatArmor as well, elegantly, then turned to Bridge.
"SPD has opened an Earth Branch, but it is not fully staffed at this time. However, since it was my home planet, they assigned me to the new Dekabase, along with one, Dekamaster."
she said, smiling at Sakura a bit before turning her attention back to Bridge.

"I thought there was already an SPD base on Earth" Sakura said.

"I never heard about it," Bridge said "If there was then they'd have hired me instead of sending Verges down with all the stuff inside,"

(Hopefully this reconciles the differences)
"No, at the time Verges was sent down there were some logistical concerns, along with debate among the SPD command over whether Earth was a large enough planet to have a Dekabase on. However, the situation has changed now, and I was sent ahead as the advance guard, so to speak."

"Ohhhhhh, that makes sense," Bridge nodded "So ... is it just you at the moment?"

( If I need to edit anything, let me know, it just makes more sense to me to be able to program a mid-air combination with no obstacles than a combo in an unpredictable environment such as a city with big ground vehicles. ) "For the moment, yes. But I have been given the tools I require to carry out my mission. A remote program written by the finest minds in SPD that's keyed to my authorization that will allow me to form the DekaWing Robo until a full team is present...This." she said, reaching in her coat and showing the D-Colt in her possession. "Among other things. But I was lucky today, due to the unique nature of Dekaranger Robo, I am unable to form it on my own, or so I've been informed. Thanks to you two however, we were able to do it."

"So where do you store them anyway?" Bridge asked "I mean the Dekamachines are massive, you can't just keep one of them in a garage, let alone all ten so there has to be some sort of uber big place to keep them,"

"That would be the Dekabase, Bridge." Jasmine replied politely, "It takes up...hmm...probably around several city blocks."

"That's what that is?" Bridge asked "I thought it was just a new shopping mall ..."

"Your sense of humor is appreciated, but that is indeed the site that's been cleared for it under agreement with the local authorities." Jasmine said, giving a small smile.

"No, really I thought it was a shopping mall ..." Bridge said lamely.

"Well now you know otherwise." Jasmine replied, not allowing Bridge to get under her skin. "Shall we head inside?"

Jasmine smiled a little and nodded. "Alright then." she said, opening the door. "Your base, you first." she added, holding the door for Sakura and Bridge.

"Base" was not a word one would use to describe the SCU office. It was a very small office, with three desks (two of which were piled with folders and paperwork, one of which was cluttered with coffee mugs) and a pair of chairs each. All around the room were big bulky files on unsolved crimes, alien activity and anything else the regular police had felt worth chucking at SCU. The only light came in from the window at the far end of the room and in the night they just put the desk lamps that were still working on. It was painted a kind of pale green colour and there was a dusty pinboard on the left wall with a table, marker pens and post-it notes hung next to it.
"Um ... ta-dah!" Bridge said, trying to big the place up.
