Kirihiko and Jerome followed. Kirihiko pulled out a phone he had picked up since leaving Japan, considering dialing a number and calling his wife.
He still loved Saeko, somewhat, but...he couldn't. He knew that. He put it quickly away as he followed.

"First, Airi, we will see how far you've come. A spar." Jan said, facing Airi and bowing as Airi did the same. Then, they began, a graceful series of moves as both of them moved in the Tiger-ken stance, punching, clawing, kicking, and delivering well-timed counters to most.
After the first bit, Jan nodded, "Not bad, to the next level." he said as red Geki flared around him while white Geki flared around Airi, and they spoke together.
"Gekiwaza: Ho Ho Dan!"
GekiTiger and GekiTora were released respectively, and they battled in the air above Airi and Jan as the spar continued.

"That is very impressive," Jerome said.
"Yeah, really," Kirihiko agreed, watching the two Geki manifestations fight.

The spar continued until Tiger had Tora pinned and Jan's fist was at Airi's throat. "Good." Jan said, bowing, "You have done pretty well. But I must ask you. Why do you want to become a practitioner of GekiJyuKen? What reason...do you fight?"
Airi paused for a moment, considering everything that had happened.
Miki looks on with Natsume, "This is the moment of truth." she said simply.

"Sensei....I have said before that I wanted to learn it to better myself...but now...I want to use GekiJyuken to help those who can't help themselves...and to enable me to better protect my friends." Once again, the silhouette appeared over her of a white suited figure, and Jan nodded. "Good...I have never doubted your ability...you are close to showing me that you know all three aspects of the Triangle. Heart...the ability to keep going when others would fail. The heart of justice that is necessary for us to practice our art...and protect. Technique....the grand flower that truly touches hearts and minds with its beauty, balance, and style. And last, but not least, the Body...the ability to endure through adversity...no matter how strong...and to stand up again." Jan said, before crossing his arms and tossing her a dust cloth. "Since we have people watching, how about you illustrate to me, and to them, what I have said?"
Airi caught it, and began to clean an area of the gym floor (like a basketball court), in a triangular motion...setting her legs straight, her back in the right position, and having both hands on the cloth as she ran back and forth.

Miki nods. "Yes...it is. Airi-san has shown the ability to work with what we call, the triangle. Heart...Technique...and Body. Usually we would have one person that showed each...but no one's been found for that yet. She has been a very promising student." she said, explaining a bit.
Airi continued the dust cloth process before coming to a stop in front of Jan a little later. "Done...sensei." she said, a little out of breath.
Natsume points, "Ah!, the floor is shining.." and sure enough, a triangle pattern shined on the gym floor, where as the rest of it was dull.

"Ok. The others are Geki users as well, then?" Kirihiko questioned, "Or they're supposed to be?"

Jan nods. "Good. That will be enough training for right now...in rest there is also training." he said, channeling a bit of Master Shafu as Airi bowed to him and walked out of the gym, heading up to the observation area.

Airi had a bright smile on her face, giving both of them a one-armed hug each..."This is great...I think with maybe another full day's worth of training I might be all set." she said. "I'm soooo close." she added, excited and a little out of breath.
