"Are you saying that we're basically assassinating this warlord and his Necro...whatever?" she questioned. Sure, it was bad...it sounded like, but this sounded like it was crossing the line for her.

Connor shakes his head. "The council wouldn't have the stones to do that. We go in, take out the undead, and try to bring the necromancer back alive to stand trial while disturbing as little of the mortal establishment as possible."

"So we're just dealing with the...magical beings," she said, "We're not killing anyone."

"Depending on the resistance the Necromancer puts up we may end up forced to use lethal force but only as a last resort." Donna clarifies.

"Count me out of that," Jasmine said, "I won't kill anyone."

"We could arrange it so you're never against a mortal opponent. We're going to need at least two people keeping the zombies down but if you're out then you're out." Connor said shaking his head.
"We're the magical SWAT team, Jasmine. If you don't have the stomach for a little blood then you might as well go home. I was hoping you had more of your Dad in you." He says as he heads out of the hall. Donna and John stay behind and wait for Jasmine to react.
"Don't listen to him. He is a miserable bastard, the only reason he's here is because he created the suits." John says.

"Don't compare me to my father!" she shouted after him, "Ever!" She shook her head, "If I never have to fight a mortal...I'll do it."

Connor ignores Jasmine's warning as he leaves.
"Don't worry we'll be swimming in zombies. You won't have to lay a finger on a mortal." John says as he takes Donna's hand and follows behind Connor back to the room with the large crystal ball.
((You want me to do the briefing now or do you just want to jump to an action thread?))

Let's brief.
Jasmine followed them, looking around a little as they went.

The others all take seats around the crystal ball and Donna pulls out a phone identical to Jasmine's that she waves at the large orb. The orb comes to life projecting a ghostly image of beaten down fortress surrounded by zombies.
"Abimbola Odili, is a Necromancer of some renown. He specializes in voodoo zombies on a scale many previously thought only possible with viral undead. The plan is to get in and out with as little mundane contact as possible, we are going to blanket the fortress in a simple sleep spell, any mortals with no magical protection should be knocked out cold for three hours. John and Jasmine will stake out front gates, keeping the majority of the undead out of the main fortress so they do not interfere with Connor and myself slipping in and grabbing Odili. Any questions?"

Jasmine had none, but didn't speak up, thinking about the plan. At least there was little chance of any mortals being around.

"Good, we leave at first light. You would all do well to get some rest." Donna says as she dismisses the illusion.
She takes John by his hand and leads him off down the corridors to their room. Connor shakes his head. "Those two never stop giving me the willies."

"What about them?" Jasmine asked, deciding to talk to him, since he was the only other one around.

"You haven't figured it out? The kid is sleeping with a woman old enough to be his Great Grandmother." Connor says with a slight chuckle.
"He's was one of the original elders and the man who taught her everything she knows in a past life."

She didn't have anything to say for about two minutes, then she just walked off, "This is just getting to be too much to handle," she said.
