"Pity..." Sonoko said as she looked at the house thinking on how impressive it would be...of course the inside would be run-down but in the past it would've been an impressive sight to behold.

He released her hand and sent his hand to the hilt of his sword, drawing it and slashing out in a wide arc at the spot the barrier would be.
His sword passed through. He took a step forward and reached for it, checking it in one swift motion, but it was there. His blade could pass, but not him.
He felt unbearable pain ripping through his body. He couldn't cry out in pain either. He was thrown back, smashing off of the ground and rolling away from the door, gasping now that he was away.

Sonoko went to him, "Are you alright Yuuga?" she asked as she helped him up.

He was panting, gasping, "So...so much power..."
He drew his hands up. They were shaking; he couldn't stop them from shaking. He seemed fine, but his body was just...

Sonko took his hand and placed hers ontop of his, "Calm down...if you can't get through the barrier then we don't need to go...we can always drop by my place" she said.

When she put her hand on his like that. For a moment he thought of Rei...
"Isaac," he dropped to using the short version of Izeekel's name again, "Find a way through, if you could." He looked to Sonoko, "Give me a few minutes before we go. I want to see if we can get through. I'm determined, as a Makai Knight."

Sonoko looked at Yuuga with a look of interest on her face before nodding, "Okay...I'll follow you then."

He managed to stand and pull out his Madou Lighter, opening it. The green fire drifted to the door, to the barrier before stopping, unable to get past, unlike his sword.
"Soul metal pierces it," he said, drawing his sword up, "Please, stand back."

"Thank you," he said, "Keep close."
He drew a halo in the air, calling on his armor. When his violet armor was one, he rushed for the door, hoping that he was right.
He passed through. He immediately turned around and held his hand out for her, just hoping it would work. He would be devastated if he was wrong, and she was hurt by this.

Sonko held his hand tightly as she went through the barrier, she looked back and saw that she was indeed inside, "It worked" she said smiling at Yuuga.

He nodded, his armor fading, "My soul metal blade could pass, but not my fire. It's soul metal, not anything of a Makai Knight's arsenal. The armor was similar enough to pass," he said, taking up her hand again, "Well, let's see what's in here."
He opened the unlocked door. Somehow, the room wasn't that bad. Dusty, yes, but not decrepit or anything. Bare for the most part, but large and open. Other rooms opened to both sides with hallways, and a staircase that led both up and down. On the other side of the room were massive windows and glass doors looking out to a large pond on the property.

Sonoko took a look around the mansion, it truly was beautiful, even if it was dusty and bare, but that's to be expected though the interior was stunning, "It's so beautiful Yuuga" she said.

He was also taken by the beauty of the place. He could only nod in agreement as he walked farther inside, still holding her hand.
"It was meant to show beauty to those Knights who constantly fought the darkness of the Horrors," commented Izeekel.

"I couldn't agree more...for noble people a noble environment must be present" Sonoko said, "without this beauty...such noble knights could not exist."
