(Inspired by this song.) Also... THIS IS A DREAM SEQUENCE, PEOPLE!) Sanyu was walking through the city, hands in his pockets. He didn't really take note that the city and most of its people were stark-white, nor did he notice that it was eerily quiet. All he could do was walk idly, as if everything was all right with the world, unaware of what could possibly happen.

A figure would walk by, a ghost of times gone by...a figure he had long admired from afar but never approached...and she would look at him and smirk before walking off into the distance, strange laughs echoing as she did so.

Sanyu turned around, but he collapsed to his knees before he took a step. He tried to take out his Morpher, but when he did, it dissolved into ones and zeroes. Soon, more ones and zeroes were coming from his own body, and he knew that his time was short. He then got back up and gave chase, determined to get to her as he slowly began to fade away...

The dream Airi would stop for a moment before walking around a corner.
He would see silhouettes of other figures, of three that towered above the rest...and of figures in armor...
the laughs still continued.

Sanyu continued to chase after her, losing some of his momentum when he turned the corner. He then stopped when he saw the figures, but only for a moment. He continued onward after Airi, who was still so close, yet so very far away. As he ran, he couldn't help but notice that a bit of the skin his arm was already gone, a wireframe underneath.

Airi was always one step ahead....now they went through the yard of their old school...through a ring and a playground....

Sanyu slowed down as he went through the school yard, and he saw all his memories of him watching Airi from a distance, never wanting to get close to her. He he continued to walk through, watching every single one of them as they replayed around him.

One of these memories would be watching from the stands as Airi was in the ring....and then it shifted to a road leading past a house to another house...and Airi walked on it, turning back to look at him before walking further

Sanyu continued to chase Airi, his running speed gradually slowing down as more of his body faded away. He wondered where he was this time...

Airi finally stopped at the park...on a sunny day, standing on a stone bridge overlooking a beautiful patch of flowers and a small water pond and creek...she wore a white and black school uniform type deal with a skirt that went to her knees and socks that came up just below the knee. She sighed a bit stretching as she just looked out, enjoying the view..

Sanyu stopped as well, feeling tired. Most of his torso and arms have faded away, the only fully intact parts being his hands and head. In his hand was a single flower, and he tried moving toward her, just as his fading began to increase....

The image of Airi turned and held her arms out to him, or maybe that's just what he wanted to dream of... Either way, just before he was about to touch her, she disappeared completely in an instant.

Sanyu reached out his arm when Airi held hers out to him, only for it to drop when she disappeared. He suddenly felt even weaker than before. I just wanted to tell you...He fell to his knees once more. Thank you... and goodbye...His eyes dulled as his body faded completely, leaving only the wireframe behind. That, too, flickered out of existence, and the flower that was in his hands fell to the ground. <---AN IRREVERSIBLE ERROR HAS OCCURRED---> <---AN IRREVERSIBLE ERROR---> --- Sanyu gasped loudly woke up with a start, drenched in sweat. He put a hand to his forehead. "Just a dream..." he said to himself. He looked down at his PSP, which still had Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA turned on, still on the results screen for the Disappearance of Hatsune Miku. He shook his head. "Stupid song," he said, sitting up and preparing to cut the game off. Before he could, the door opened and his sister came in, wearing a light blue silk robe. "Sanyu... Are you all right?" Karazu asked him, her voice full of concern as she turned on the light. "Yeah..." Sanyu said. "Just a bad dream." Karazu walked to his bed and sat on it. "Well, do you mind telling me about it?" she asked. Sanyu sighed and told her every detail about the dream he just had, and Karazu listened intently. When he had finished, Karazu put a hand on his shoulder. "I think I know what caused it... You trying to perfect that song," she told him, motioning to the PSP. "Yeah, I figured that much out myself," Sanyu deadpanned. "But I'm thinking you're also regretting not telling her how you really felt." There was an uncomfortable silence between the two for a few minutes. Eventually, Sanyu spoke. "It's just... I feel like if I had told her, none of this would have happened," he said. "If I weren't such a... a..." "'Covered candle'?" "Yeah, that.... If I weren't that, she wouldn't have had to die..." "Maybe she wouldn't have. But that's all in the past now. You have to keep moving on," Karazu told him, hugging her brother. "Now go back to sleep..." she told him, shutting off his PSP as she made her way back to the door. "I know you have some... personal stuff to do tomorrow." "Yeah..." Sanyu said, before laying back down. "Hey, Karazu?" "Hm?" "...thanks for listening," he told her. "Not a problem, ototo-san..." she said before cutting off the light and walking out. Sanyu turned around and fell asleep. He needed to head to the flower shop early tomorrow, as a present for someone.... (Thread Over!)
