One of the less glamorous jobs of Wild Space Corp was to protect the civilians from the monsters. This doesn't always mean fighting the monsters but often just evacuating the scene and keeping them in a safe area. Why someone like Simon Everett was chosen for this job on a routine job in Toronto is a question for the ages.
Among the civilians was a rather attractive young woman with a large number of peircings and tattoos who kept making eyes at the young rider.

BORED. This was pretty much the only thought going through Simon's head. Bored, bored, bored. Clean up duty? who cared about clean up duty? He didn't have time to babysit civilians, there was a demon in need of killing! He gave a frustrated sigh. Though, he had to admit, hanging out for a bit with his adoring fans certainly had benefits. For example, that delightful young woman over there, that was staring at him. After a minute or two of being mind-numbingly bored, he decided to take a shot. Assuming his best 'humble everydude just doing his job' expression, he approached her. "Well hello there, beautiful." He said with a smile. "Everything alright over here? Anything I can help you with?"

"Well um...you see I was the one who sent that Rider guy after the Rangers. I didn't know who they were I just thought that the kid was trying to pick a fight. I saw most of the fight before you guys showed up. I think I might know something about that Kennith fellow." She says nervously always facing you but avoiding eye contact.

Simon would be lying if he said he wasn't a bit disappointed, but on the upside, gathering info might get him some cudos from the boss. So he gave the young lady his best, friendly smile, channeling his boss' 'reasonable authority figure' vibe. "I see. Anything you could tell us would be appreciated, of course." Noticing how fidgety she was, he tried to set her at ease. "Can I get you some coffee? The relief workers were brewing a pot, last I saw."

Simon's natural instinct upon hearing this was to flirt, but he squashed it quickly. Now was not the time or place, sadly. "Of course." He said, gesturing for her to follow. "Come on, they've set up some tents over here as temporary shelters. We can talk in there." He led her into a nearby tent and sat on the ground. "So, what can you tell me?"

"As far as I know." Simon said, slightly suspicious now. His smile slipped a bit. "How do you know about the Orphnoch?" Simon had only heard of the creatures recently, when he'd joined up with Wild Space Corp. He wasn't entirely certain a civilian should even know they existed, much less recognize one.

"As a reginal commander it is my duty to learn about and reconize other contenders for the fate of this world." The girl says her voice dropping several octaves and sounding like it was coming not from a human throat but from something speaking from a very deep hole.
At long last she looks up at you directly allowing you to see the pentagrams seemingly carved into her irisises. She was the demon the Rangers must have been looking for.

"Ah. Of course." Simon said, surprisingly calm. "I shouldn't really be surprised." With a sudden jerk, he tumbled backwards, sliding under the back of the tent. Once out of the confined space, he took a few steps back and reached for his belt, latching it on quickly. "Come on, beautiful. Let's do this." He said, reaching for an I-Card.

Simon slips out of tent and is closely followed by the demon who is now slipping out of it's assumed body and taking it's true form.
Where once stood an attractive woman now is a hunched over monster with four arms each ending in a vile clawed hand and a pair of bat like wings sprouting from it's back. "This identity has been compromised. I think you shall be a reasonable alternative, no one would expect a Rider."

Simon seemed wholly unconcerned by this abomination that appeared before him. One of the advantages to his job is that he saw so many crazy things that they just didn't faze him any more. "Two problems with that plan, darlin'." He said, as he pulled an I-Card from his jacket pocket. "One. You're sorta in public. People are gonna notice if you steal my skin or whatever you guys do. And two..." He raised the card up high, in a faux-rockstar pose. "You're assuming you'll beat me. IT'S SHOWTIME!" The hand came down, swiping the Terrain I-Card through the card reader.
"Terrain Initiation Card Confirmed." Spoke the belt in a robotic voice. A symbol in the shape of a bulldozer appeared on the belt. Grinning widely, Simon slapped the symbol with the palm of his hand with a proud cry. "HENSHIN!" In a blaze of electricity, the massive, silvery armor covered him. "I am... Kamen Rider Variable, Urban Form!" He announced, taking his massive hammer from his back and pointing it at the demon. "Come and get some!"
(sorry it's so long, it's my first transformation and I got carried away. ;D)

The demon charges towards Simon swinging it's claws towards the rider.

Simon charged the demon even as it charged him, ducking inside it's four-armed reach and swinging his hammer around in a wide arc, aiming for the monster's skull, keeping low to avoid the creature's flailing claws.

The demon throws up it's wings to block the hammer but the blow obviously hurts it as it staggers back.
