Liam glanced up at him, rising to his feet, "I'm Liam Braddock," he said, holding his hand out, "Ranger Operator Series Cyan. I was supposed to do some looking into a few of these cases, being former Corinth military. Needed to check the police reports."

"Liam Braddock. Series Cyan," he introduced shortly, "Yeah. She made a good choice. I'm a gun man, though. Gave me a trident as my primary."

He held up the papers, "Like I said, just here to check some papers and the corresponding police reports to make sure things are done...properly, for your case."

"I don't doubt you. I doubt some of the officers involved in these cases," he informed Miles, "I need to check into their stories."

"I wasn't looking at them," he said, "I trust them...for the most part. They aren't military, but I do trust them to do proper paperwork. I was actually checking local reports and cases. I wanted to see if I could do anything to help the police force here. Or SPD."

"I have enough here to look into for the time," he said, holding up the stacks, "But the police reports aren't attached. I just need to see those, if you can find them."

"That sounds fine to me," he told Miles, taking the papers and looking through them, "Let's go," he chose the top report, looking over it, then put it aside. After a few papers, he found one, "This one looks worth looking into."

"Yeah," he said, "I need to check our laptop," he said, heading over and typing something in without waiting for an answer, "Looks like he's still serving instead of having been removed for the time until this case is done. They must not care about the quality."

He didn't ask. He just nodded and headed out first, "I have a car waiting," he said.

He got into his SUV, "I'll call in," he said, picking up the radio he had sitting in the car, "This is Braddock, looking for an Officer Kyoshi."
After a few moments they got an answer, "He's on duty. On patrol." They were given a location.
"Let's go," he said, heading that way.

"Maybe they just didn't read the report that closely. Just an off day, or someone who didn't care enough to read it," he suggested, "Doesn't mean it's a coverup. Or they didn't care what happened to him when it went to court, and would let his case get picked apart. Who knows."
