Rio had done something unorthodox. During mid-day, when everyone thought he would be meditating...he had actually used his Rinki to don a human disguise, at least clothing wise, and he ventured out into the human world to plan for something special...but he hadn't said a word to anyone, not even Mele.

Mele went to see if Rio was meditating. She would join him, if nothing else, but when she entered the chamber, he was missing.

He walked for a while, taking in the sights, and sounds...he managed to get himself some money, through alternative means...and bought the ingredients to make the perfect dinner...along with a better table, and some other things he felt appropriate.

Where was he? She went around to everywhere she could think of inside the temple, but...nothing.

Using his Rinki, he returned it to his locked bedchambers, after he got out of sight, and then he went and picked up a cookbook, to learn about what he'd need to do, and what utensils he didn't have. Once he got all of that, and returned it, he made his way back. deciding to keep the human guise, just to see what Mele would say as he returned to RinJyuden, and walked up the stairs, his dark aura flaring to remind those who looked just who he was.

Mele felt his presence and ran to meet him, rushing down the steps, slowing when she saw him. She smiled and kept going, stopping just before him, unsure of how to address him here. As a woman - his lover? - or subordinate.

"Mele, I see you're doing well today." Rio said formally, but with an air of mischief about him. This wasn't like the other times he was formal.

Rio waved to her and walked to his chambers, going inside and keeping the door locked. He was going to meditate for much of the afternoon...in preparation for what he was about to do.

Mele wasn't sure what to do with her day, so she decided to go for a walk. Granted, she was excited, so kept to the Rin Juken area.

After a long session of meditation, Rio got up, and, and set the table in place, placing candles across it and darkening the room so where only the candles from the table illuminated it. Once he did that, it was time...and he turned to the door, trying to sense if Mele was nearby.
